I would like to dedicate this CD to all of the wonderful piano players that I listened to growing up. Professor Longhair, Otis Spann, Meade Lux Lewis, Albert Ammons, Pete Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Memphis Slim, Toots Washington, Pinetop Smith, Spreckled Red, Jimmy Yancey, Champion Jack Dupree, and all of the others too numerous to count. This CD is a tribute to them.
If you want to learn how to play the piano blues on this CD, contact Homespun Tapes, Woodstock, NY and ask about my various instructional audio, video, and book/CD packages available.
Special thanks to Maureen for putting up with me.
Finally, I would like to express my deep gratitude to Daisaku Ikeda.
